  • Tambomachay Archaeological Complex: Tambomachay is known as the “Bath of the Inca” because it preserves water channels that still flow perfectly. It is believed that this place was a place for the Inca nobility to rest and worship water. We can also appreciate more of the Inca architecture, along with large stone gateways and small surrounding forests.
  • Qoricancha Site Museum: The Qoricancha Museum, located within the most important ancient Inca temple dedicated to the Sun, displays archaeological pieces, ceramics, and models dating back to the Inca era, all within an underground tour that will allow you to learn more about this incredible culture.
  • Regional Historical Museum: This museum was home to the Cusco chronicler Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. It houses 13 rooms showcasing paleontological, archaeological, and artistic artifacts from the pre-Hispanic, colonial, republican, and contemporary periods. Here, we can gain a much broader view of Cusco’s history.

  • Pikillacta Archaeological Center: In Pikillacta, we find pre-Inca archaeological remains from the Wari culture. It is an ancient and immense urban and ceremonial center almost two kilometers long, surrounded by numerous walls and buildings. This is one of the few urban remains preserved from that period.
  • Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park: Ollantaytambo is located high in the mountains of the Sacred Valley, which served as a military, religious, administrative, and agricultural complex during the Inca era. It is one of the most impressive sites for its buildings, among which the Temple of the Sun and its terraces stand out. It also allows us to explore its magical village, which preserves much of the characteristic architecture of the Inca culture.
  • Pisac Archaeological Center: Pisac houses one of the most impressive Inca citadels, from where we can contemplate landscapes of the entire Sacred Valley and the surrounding biodiversity.
