  • Museum of Popular Art. Housed: in a small building, the Museum of Popular Art displays sculptures, crafts, and textiles that represent Andean culture and folklore. It also hosts small, temporary exhibitions by various artists.
  • The Qosqo Native Art Center: hosts daily performances of folkloric dances and music from various Cusco locations. This center also houses a museum of traditional costumes and musical instruments.
  • Tipón Archaeological Park: Noted for its iconic canal system, Tipón features immense agricultural terraces, stone staircases, and beautiful water fountains. This site is said to have been one of the royal gardens of Inca Wiracocha, the ancient Inca emperor.
  • Pikillacta Archaeological Center: In Pikillacta, we’ll find pre-Inca archaeological remains from the Wari culture. It’s a vast urban and ceremonial center, almost two kilometers long, surrounded by walls and buildings. It’s one of the few urban remains preserved from that period.
